The City Commission of the City of Oenfor~, Florida, met in adjourned session at
the City Hsll in the City of sen~ord, Florida, et 3:00 o'clock p.M November 19,1942.

Meeting called to oraer by the 0hairman who announced that the purpose of the
meeting was to give further consideration to the mat~e~ of enacting a curfew law
for restraining the sales of intoxicating beverages after a certain hour at night.
Thereupon after considerable discussion, City A~%orney Wilson wes directed
~o draft an ordinance for c~nsideration et the next regular meeting, amending
Section 9 of Ordinance No. 256 so as to prohioit ~ne s~le of intoxicating beverages,
except wines eric beer, between the hourse of 12:OO P.M. of e~ch Saturday end 8:00
A.M o5 the following Monday, and between the hours of ll:30 P.M. and 8 A.M. on all
other days; and to prohibit the sale of beer and wines between the hours of 12:00
P.M. of each Saturday and 8:00 A.M. of the following day, ~nd between the hours
of ll:30 P.M. and 8:00 of all other days of the week.
There being no further ~usiness the meeting adjourned.
