A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA AUTHORIZING
THE APPLICATION BY SAID CITY TO THE FEDERAL WORKS AGENCY FOR FEDERAL ~SSISTANCE FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF ADDITIONAL WATER SUPPLY FOR SAID CITY, OF SANFORD; DONATING A SITE
FOR ?HE CONSTRUCTION OF SAID ADDITIONAL WATER SUPPLY ASD AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION BY
THE ~YOR AND CITY CLERK OF SAID CITY OF A DEED OF CONVEYANCE OF SAID SITE AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR,CITY CKER AND CITY ATTORNEY TO EXECUTE ALL NECESSARY PAPERS AND FURNISH SUCH
INFORMATION AS MAY BE NECESSARY FOR SUCH PURPOSE.
WHEREAS the City Commission of the C~SN of Sanford, Florida, deems it advisable , expedient
and for the best interest of .the City to apply to the Federal Works Agency for assistance
tn~e construcflon of an additional water supply for the C~ty of Sanford consistlng of two
new ten inch water supply wells to be known ss wells Nos 8 and 9 to be located on Ci~-
owned orooerty immediately west of the present wells of said City and the construction of
a booster pump station on the discharge side of well no. 2 of said City:
NOW , THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of Sanford, ~lorida,
that' said City make application to the Federal Works Agency for federal assistance for
the construction of the above mentioned additional water supply for said City con-
sistlng of two wells and booster pump station as above described.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a site for the above described wells on property owned by
the City of Sanford be and the same is hereby donated for said purpose and the Mayor and
City Clerk ~ said City are hereby authorized and ~nstructed to execute deed of con-
veyance to the United St8tes of America for said site.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor, City Clerk and City Attorney furnish all
such information as may be necessary to said Federal Works Agency in co~nection with

ployment of Wade H.Rsulerson in the Police Deoartment at a salary of $100.OO per month, to

The Clerk next oresented the revl~ed WPA Project aoolication covering
