The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in adjourned session
at l:~O o'clock P.M.Aoril 25,1945.

Meetln~ called to order by the Chairman who announced thst the ouroose of the meeting
was to confer with the City Planning Committee with reference to selecting a right-of-way
for the proposed re-location of State Road No. 3 from Seminole Boulevard between Mangous-
tine and French Avenues for the ouroose of constructing Municioal Docks and Terminal
Facilities on the lake front between those two ooints; advising that the State Road
Deoartment objected to the orooosed right-of-way beginning at Mangoustine Avenue and
extending southeasterly into First Street at intersection of Poolar Avenue because there
are several railroad tracks crossing First Stree~ between Poolar Avenue and Park Avenue,
the re-connecting ooint.
Thereuoon after considerable discussion and careful study of macs showing three
orooosed right-of-ways, of which one leads into Park Avenue on Gabbstt Street, one on
Fulton Street and the other on First Street, final action was deferred oend!ng further
consideration by the Planning Committee.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned.
