The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in adjourned regular
session at the City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida, at 2:00 o'clock PiM. July 31,
19 5.
Present: Commissioner Edward Hlggins, Mayor.

Meeting called to order by the Chairman.
On motion of Commissioner Gut, seconded by Commissioner Hill and carried, the
Commission next authorized the payment of $600.00 to the Board of Public Instruction
of Seminole County for reimbursement of salary paid Recreation Director Carl Kettles
during months of June and July, and for payment of his salary for month of .August 1945,
at rate of $200.00 per month.
The Commission then resolved itself in final session as a Tax Equalization Board to
act upon complaints registered as to assessed valuations for year 1945.
The following action was next taken with respect to complaints as to valuations
presented to the Board at its meeting of July 2 and ot~er complaints filed with the
Clerk since that time.
