The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in adjourned regular ses-
sion at the City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida at 2:00 o'clock P.M.September 6,19~5.'
Present: Commissioner Edward Higgins, Mayor

Meeting called to order by the Chairman.
Ordinance No. 3?$ entitled:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA CLOSING TO PUBLIC TRAFFIC THAT
CERTAIN ALLEY RUNNING EAST AND WEST BETWEEN SANFORD AVENUE AND PALMETTO AVENUE
IN BLOCK J OF N.H.GAP~ER'S ADDITION TO NARKHAM PARK HEIGHTS,EXCEPT THE PORTION
THEREOF COMPRISED OF ITS INTERSECTION WITH AN ALLEY RUNNING NORTH AND SOUTH
THROUGH SAID BLOCK J,THE RIGHT TO USE SAID ALLEY FOR SEWERAGE OR OTHER PUBLIC
PURPOSES AND THE RIGHT TO REPEAL THIS ORDINANCE BEING RESERVED.
introduced and placed on its first reading at themeeting of the City Commission on
July 9,19~5, was next presented for further consideration.
Thereupon Commissioner Gut moved that said Ordinance No. 3?8 be placed on its
final passage and adoption.
Seconded by Commissioner Bishop
Thereupon said Ordinance No. 3?8 was placed on its final reading for passage and
adoption. The roll was called and the vote stands as follows:

Thereupon the Chairman announced that the City Commission of the City of Sanford
Florida, by unanimous vote had passed and adopted said Ordinance No. 378, entitled:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,CLOSING TO PUBLIC TRAFFIC THAT
CERTAIN ALLEY RUNNING EAST AND WEST BETWEEN SANFORD AVENUE AND PAI~{ETTO AVENUE
IN BLOCK J OF N.~.GARNER'S ADDITION TO MARKHAM PARK HEIGHTS,EXCEPT THE PORTION
THEREOF COMPRISED OF ITS INTERSECTION WITH AN ALLEY RUNNING NORTH AND SOUTH
THROUGH SAID BLOCK J,THE RIGHT TO USE SAID ALLEY FOR SEWERAGE OR OTHER PUBLIC
PURPOSES AND THE RIGHT TO REPEAL THIS ORDINANCE BEING RESERVED.
On motion duly adopted said Ordinance No. 3?8 was next ordered POSTED at the
front door of the City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida, in accordance with the
terms of the Charter , as amended.
The Board next proceeded to a further study of the budget of revenues and expendi-
tures for the fiscal year 1945-19~6, final action being deferred, pending further con-
slderatlon.
The meeting then adjourned.
