The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in adjourned session at the
City Hall in the City of Sanford, Fi~rida$ at 8 o'clock P. M. September 17, 1951.
Present: Commissioner F. A.~Dyson, Mayor

Meeting called to order by the Chairman.
Mr. Merman Morris, Principal of Seminole High School, and a Committee from High School
' P. T. A., next appeared for purpose of submitting a request to continue using the City Audi-
torium for the Celery Crate, and was informed that the meeting was for considering only the budget
for next fiscsl year but the Board wo~ld be glad to Consider their request at next regula~
meeting.
A Committee from the Junior Chamber of Commerce next apoeered and requested the City
to continue t?~ir appropriation of $1,500.00 annually in next fiscal year's budget, and same
was taken under advlsment, to be con~idered in preparing the budget.
The Board then proceeded to a lengthy study and discussion of the budget of revenues
and exnend,itures for the fiscal year 1951-1952, final action being deferred pending further
consideration.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned.
