The Senford City Commission of the City of Banford, Florida, met in regular session at the
City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida, at 1:30 o'clock P.M. on November 2, 1951.
Present:
Commissioner F. A. Dyson, Mayor

Absent: H.N. Sayer, C~Vy Clerk
Meeting called to order by the Chairman, who aOoolnted City Manager Clifford McKibbin as
Secretary of the meeting.
On motion by Commissioner Carraway, seconded by Commissioner Bitting, Charter requirements
for adequate notice of meeting were waived by unanimous vote.
Consideration was next given to plans as subnitted by Architect E. J. Moughton for the
proposed Tourist Center near the Shuffleboard Court, and the following cha. nges or additions
and specifications were authorized by the Commission:
Large ventilator louvres,
Heater Flue
French doors on east end
One picture window on both north and. south side, eaet end
8" concrete block to be used in building
Bu~.ldlng to be water proofed
No furring
16 c 32" Celotex tileboard ceiling to be used.
On motim by Commissioner Carraway, seconded by Commissioner Stamper, the Commission
authorized the City Manager to advertise for bids when plans and specifications were completed
by Architect. On motion by Carraway and seconded by Commissioner Stemper that Mayor Dyson be
consulted along with the Architect in any construction problem that arrises in connection with
the Tourist Center, motion carried.
On advice by City MAnager that 19 November hsd been tentatively set
Barbecue, same was authorized by the Commission.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned.
