The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in Bpecial Beasion at the City
Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida, at 12:00 o'clock Noon, November 7, 1951, for the purpose
of canvassing the election returns of the Municipal General Election held November 6, 1951.
Present: Commissioner F. A. Dyson, Mayor

City Manager Clifford McKibbln, Jr.,
City Clerk H. N. Bayer
Absent: Commissioner John D. Ivey.
Meeting called to order by the Chairman.
The Commission then proceeded to canvass the returns of the Municipal General E~ection
held November 6, 1951, for the purpose of electing two City Commissioners for terms ~ three
years each commencing on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in January 1952, and one for
a term expiring December 1953, commencing immediately upon acceptance of office; said returns
as made by the Clerks and Inspectors of said election being as follows:

Thereupon Commissioner Carraway moved that the returns of the
General Election held November 6, 1951, be accepted.
Clerks and Insoectors of the
Seconded by Commissioner Bitting and carried.
Thereupon John Kadet and W. H. Stemper were certified as the duly elected City Commissioners
of the City of Sanford. Florida, for three year term, commencing with first Tuesday after the
first Monday in January 1952, and Randall Chase for term expiring December 31, 1953, commencing
upon acceptance of office.
On motion of Commissioner Carraway, seconded by Commissioner Bitting and carried, the Com-
mission next authorized payment at the rate of $1.00 per hour to each of the InsEtors and Clerks
of the aforesaid election.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned.
