The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in adjourned session at the
City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida, at 8:00 o'clock P. M., September 18, 1956.

Meeting called to order by the Chairman.
The Commission ~hen proceeded to a further study and discussion of the proposed
uniform pay classification schedule for employees, and after authorizing and directing
changes in the classifieatlons and grades of certain employees, final action was deferred,
pending further consideration.
The Board next proceeded to a lengthy study and discussion of the proposed budget of
revenues and expenditures of the General Fund for fiscal year 1956-1957, as prepared by the
City Manager.
After careful consideration of the anticipated revenues and the appropriations for
each department, the Commission tentative approved the Gem ral Fund budget for fiscal year
1956-1957, subject to final adoption.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned.
