The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in Special Session at t~he
City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida, at 12:00 o'clock Noon, November 6, 1957, for the
purpose of canvassing the Election Returns of the Municipal General Eleetion held November
1957:

Meeting called to order by the Chairman.
The Commission then proceeded to canvas ~ the returns of the Municipal Gem ral Election
held on November 5, 1957, for the purpose of electing two City Commissioners for terms ~ thre
years each, commencing on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in January 1958; said returr
as made by the Clerks and Inspectors being as follows:

Commissioner Warner then moved that the returns of the Clerks and Inspectors of the
Municipal Gener~l Election held November 5, 1957, be accepted. Seconded by Commissioner Wilson
and carried.
Thereupon A. L. Wilson and Robert S. Brown were certified as the duly elected City
Commissioners of the City of Banford, Florida, for three year terms each, commencing with the
Tuesday after the first
first/Monday in January 1958.
On motion of Commissioner Wilson, seconded by Commissioner Warner, and carried, payment
of $1.00 per hour to the Clerks and Inspectors of the aforesaid election was next authorized.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned.
