The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in Special Session at the
City Hall in the City of Sanford,- Florida, at 4:30 o'clock P. M. on December 22, 1959.

The meeting was called to order by the Chairman.
The City Manager next submitted the following tabulation of bids which were opened
publicly at 2:00 o'clock P. M. on December 21, 1959, for furnishing the following equipment
in accordance with the specifications in the invitation for bids published in the Sanford
Herald on December 7, 1959.

After discussion, and on the recommendation of the City Manager, Commissioner
Higginbotham moved the acceptance of the bid of Strickland Morrison in amount of $4,650.00
for furnishing Item I. Seconded by Commissioner Brown and carried over the dissenting vote
of Commissioner Baker.
After discussion and on motion of Commissioner Baker, seconded by Commissioner
Higginbotham and carried over the dissenting vote of Commissioner Warner, the Commission
approved the acceptance of the bids as follows:

Item III Hunt Lincoln-Mercury Co.
