The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in Special session at the City
Hall in. the City of Sanford, Florida, at 10:00 o,clock A. M. on May 28, 1960.
Present: Commissioner Earl Higginbotham, Mayor
Joe B. Baker
R.S. Brown
" J.H. Crapps
" A.. L. Wilson
The meeting was called'to order by the Chairman.
The first order of business was the reconsideration of a plat of Mayfair Addition, First
Section, submitted by Philip Zeuli.
Wm. Bush and Wm. Leffler, engineers, appea~ed in support of the plat prepared by their
firm for Mr. Zeuli.
F. D. Scott, 437[~:Scott Avenue, next appeared, objecting to the off-set in the extension
of Scott Avenue, South of~8th Street.
The Commission then proceeded into a lenghty d~scussion of the traffic hazards involved
in various types of curves and intersections applicable to the southerly extension of Scott
Avenue.
Commissioner Brown moved the approval of said plat delineating an off-set in Scott
Avenue south of 8th Street. Seconded by Commissioner Wilson, and carried over the dissenting
votes of Commissioner Crapps mhd Commissioner Baker.
There being uo~]' further business the meeting adjourned.
