The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in Special Session at the
City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida, at 8:00 o,clock P. M. on September ~, 1961, to re-
ceive the Tax Assessment Roll for 1961, as prepared by the Tax .Assessor, and to set as a Tax
Equalization Board.

The meeting was called to order by the Chairman.
The Commission then proceeded to sit as a Tax Equalization Board to receive any complaint
or objections on the 1961 Tax Roll, as prepared by the Tax Assessor and submitted at this time.
There being no objections registered and ou mo~ion of Commissioner Wilson, seconded by
Commissioner Crapps and carried, the Commission~:then approved the 1961 Tax Roll and adjourned as
a Tax Equalization Board.
Commissioner Wilson moved to call the meeting as a special session to handle other
matters before the Commission and.to waive the requirement of 24 hour written notice. Seconded
by Commissioner Higginbotham and unanimously carried.
The City Manager next reported that W. A. Adams had requested an estimate of Costs to in-
stall an 8-inch water line from the south side of First Street to his warehouse on Commercial
and Holly Avenues, to service a Fire Sprinkler system as required by his Fire Insurance Under-
writers.
Estimated costs are as follows:

Commissioner Crapps moved that in consideration that the aforesaid water line would be
located on City Property and could further be used to extend the City water services, to
authorize the installation of said water line with City forces and equipment, provided that Mr.
Adams pay for water line materials and cost of 8-inch Tap.

There being no further business Commissioner Crapps moved to adjourn the meeting.
Seconded by Commissioner Higginbotham and carried.
