The City Commission of the City of Sanford, in the County of Seminole and State of Florida, met in regular session pursuant to law and the rules of said Commission. .The meeting was called to order by the Mayor-Commissioner and, on the roll being called there werepresent J. H. Crapps, Mayor-Commissioner, presiding, and the following named com- missioners: Joe B. Baker, Earl Higginbotham, Thomas S. McDonald, and A. L. Wilson; also present, W. E. Knowles, City Manager, W. C. Hutchison, Jr., City Attorney, and H. N. Temm, Jr., City Clerk and Auditor. Absent: None. The City Attorney then presented in typewritten form for consideration a proposed ordinance entitled, AN ORDINANCE SUPPLEMENTING AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CONSTRUCTION OR ACQUISITION OF ADDITIONS, EXTENSIONS AND IMPROVEMENTS TO THE COMBINED WATER AND SEWER SYSTEM OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA AND AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF $1,175,000.00 WATER AND SEWER REVENUE CERTIFICATES FOR SUCH PUR- POSE," AND PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF $200,000.00 WATER AND SEWER REVENUE CERTIFICATES, SERIES 1962. The proposed ordinance was read for information. Commissioner Higginbotham moved that any rules or charter provisions that might other- wise require deferred consideration or further readings of said proposed ordinance No. 773 be suspended by unanimous consent and that said ordinance b~:now placed upon its final adoption. Commissioner Wilson seconded the motion, and after due consideration thereof by the Commission the Mayor-Commissioner put the question on the motion to suspend the rules and provisions for deferred considerations or additional readings of said proposed ordinance and, the roll being called the following voted: Aye: J. H. Crapps, Joe B. Baker, Earl Higginbotham, Thomas S. McDonald and, A. L. Wilson; Nay: None. Whereupon the said motion was declared duly and unanimously carried and said ordinance No. 773 was placed upon its final passage and adoption. Commissioner Higginbotham moved that said ordinance be adopted, seconded by Com- missioner Wilson, and after due consideration thereof by the Commission the Mayor-Com- missioner put the question on the motion for adoption of said ordinance and, the roll being. called, the following voted: Aye: J.H. Crapps, Joe B. Baker, Earl Higginbotham, Thomas S, McDonald and A. L. Wilson; Nay: None. Commissioner Higginbotham moved that publication of said ordinance No. 773 be by posting a true and correct copy thereof at the front door of the City Hall of said City, seconded by Commissioner Wilson, and after due consideration thereof by the Commission the Mayor-Commissioner put the question and the roll being called, the following voted: Aye: Nay: J. H. Crapps, Joe Baker, Earl Higginbotham, Thomas S. McDonald and. A. L. Wilson; Nonee MINUTES City Commission, Sanford, Florida, April 16 at 8: O0 P~.FI. 19..6.2__ Whereupon the motion was declared duly carried. WHEREUPON the ordinance No 773 was declared duly adopted. The Mayor-Commissioner as presiding officer, And the remaining four Commissioners, and the City Clerk as Clerk of the Commission, announced that they had each authenticated said ordinance with their official signature.
