110762 MINUTES City Commission, Sanford, Florida, November 7, 1962 The City Commission of the City of Sanford~ Florida, met in special session at the City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida, at 12:00 o'clock Noon, November 7, 1962, for the purpose of canvassing the Election Returns of the Municipal General Election held November 6, 1962. Present: Absent: Commissioner Thomas S. McDonald, Acting Mayor " Joe B. Baker " Earl Higginbotham * "'' A..L]'1 Wilson City'Manager W.'E. Knowles City Clerk.H.N. Tamm, Jr. Deputy Clerk Rosa M. Rotundo Police Chief R. G. Williams *City Attorney Wm. C. Hutchison Commissioner J. H. Crapps, Mayor The Commission then proceeded to canvass the returns of the Municipal General Election held on November 6, 1962, for the purpose of electing two City Commissioners for terms of three years each, commencing on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in January, 1963, said returns as made by the Clerks and Inspectors being as follows: FOR CITY COMMIo~IONER PRECINCT Group I ..1 .... 5 15 19 .... 20 21 22 J. "Sonny" Raborn 165 207 316 148 2 68 274 36 1,216 ComMissioner Wilson then moved that the returns of the Clerks and Inspectors of the municipal General Election held November 6, 1962, be accepted and the absentee ballots be approved as recorded. Seconded by Commissioner Baker and carried. Thereupon J. H. Crapps and M. L.
