The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in Special Session at
the City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida, at 12:00 o'clock Noon on February 17, 1966.

The meeting was called to order by the Chairman.
The meeting was called for the explicit discussion of an Agreement to Lease
between the City of Sanford, Florida, and a private interest, Harold L. Slama, regarding
the motel-restaurant-marina complex on the lakefront.
The City Attorney presented a proposed Agreement to Lease and outlined the terms
as applicable to the City and those to the private interest.
After lengthy discussion, Commissioner Roberts moved that the Agreement to Lease,
as prepared and outlined by the City, be delivered to Mr. Slama for his consideration; and
that authorization be granted that the City Manager and Mr. Slama and any respective
attorneys work out all negotiations on the agreement. Seconded by Commissioner Higginbotham
and carried.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
