The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in Special Session
in the City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida, at 12:00 o'clock Noon on December
20, 1978.
Present: Mayor-Commissioner Lee P. Moore
Commissioner John G. Morris
Commissioner Julian L. Stenstrom

Commissioner-Eddie-.0. Keilh
City Attorney C. Vernon Mize, Jr.
City Manager W~ E. Knowles
City Clerk H. N. Tamm, Jr.
The Chairman called the meeting into session t,o canvass the returns of the
Municipal Run-Off Election held on December 19, 1978, for the purpose of electing
one City Commissioner for a term of office of foum years, commencing on the first
Tuesday after the first Monday in January, 1979.
Returns made by the Clerk and Inspectors of the election were examined and
the absentee ballots opened and examined by the City Clerk and the City Commission
and recorded as follows:

Commissioner Stenstrom moved that the returns of the Clerk and Inspectors
of the election held December 19, 1978 be ac.cept~d, andthe'absentee balt~s._be appro~ed
as recorded. Seconded by Commissioner Keith and carried.
Thereupon, David ~arr, Seat No. 3, was certified as duly elected to said
office, for a term to commence on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in January,
1979.
Commissioner Keith moved to pay the poll workers for the December 19, 1978
Municipal Run-Off Election at the rate of-$35.00 for Inspectors and $40.00 for the
Clerk. Seconded by Commissioner Stenstrom and carried.
The Commission authorized an Organizational Meeting to be held January 2, 1979
at 12:00 moon.
There being no further business,
