Moment of Silence Pledge of Allegiance Minutes Mr. Esler moved to approve the Minutes of the July 19, 2012 Regular Meeting, Minutes of the August 16, 2012 Work Session Training, and Minutes of the September 6, 2012 Regular Meeting. Ms. Oyewale seconded. Motion carried 5 -0. Development Plan DP -1 Consider the Final Plat for the Southgate Property, a proposed mixed use residential/commercial subdivision located at 1600 Rinehart Road. Mr. Newton moved to approve the Final Plat for the Southgate Property per staffs recommendation. Mr. Esler seconded. Motion carried 5 -0. Mr. Gibson stated the City Commission is tentatively scheduled to consider the Final Plat at their October 8"' meeting. Staff Report Mr. Gibson reported staff will be meeting with the Orlando Sanford International Airport Planning Area Committee on Friday, September 28 at 3pm to review the proposed Tanner's Women Shelter facility that was tabled on September 6 Mr. Gibson reported Mr. Green's term is due to expire on September 30, 2012. Prior to the City Commission reappointing or appointing a board member they conduct an interview so Mr. Green is scheduled to attend the September 24 City Commission Work Session. Mr. Gibson reported the Visioning Steering Committee consists of 13 members, which two of the members are Lindsay Oyewale and Steve Newton. Mr. Gibson reported he, Mary Moskowitz and Steve Newton attended the SunRail event on September 14'. In lieu of a training session, Ms. Moskowitz gave a PowerPoint presentation on the SunRail project, which will also be presented at the City Commission Work Session on Monday. Mr. Groot gave an update on the Sanford Lofts land swap issue. Commissioners Reports There was a brief discussion on the Golf Cart Ordinance.
