The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in Special Session in
the City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida, at 4:00 o'clock P. M.'on July 2, 1981.

Commissioner Eddie O. Keith
City Manager W. E. Knowles
City Clerk H. N. Tatum, Jr.
Absent: City Attorney William L. Colbert
The meeting was called to order by the Chairman.
The City~ Commission continued the consideration of the 81-82 budget as presented
by the City Manager.
The City Manager submitted amendments to the proposed 81-82 budget as follows:

The Commission authorized one additional police patrolman and to upgrade the park-
ing specialist position to a patrolman, and further, to direct that station officers be
placed on road patrol.
The Commission authorized the City Manager to refigure the proposed budget with
an increase in the roll back millage of .236 mills, due to increased homestead exemptions
and an additional operating budget increase of .264 mills for a total increase of .5 mills.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
