Each person desiring to address the City Commission on an agenda item pending before the City Commission must, before addressing the City Commission, legibly complete a citizen's input form and submit the form to the City Clerk or designee. A resolution was adopted by the City Commission of the City of Sanford recognizing the importance of civility, decency, decorum and respectful behavior in promoting citizen participation in a democratic government. Resolution No. 2330, establishing the budget and capital improvement plan. C. Mr. Bonaparte said there will be a Mayor /Manager evening coffee from 6 — 7 PM at the Dr. Velma H. Williams Community Resource Center on Tuesday, September 25 he invited everyone to come. 13) CITIZEN PARTICIPATION. Carolyn Sullivan and Allen Smith spoke about the removal of the Trayvon 2012 -417 CITY COMMISSION MINUTES SEPTEMBER 10, 2012 REGULAR MEETING Martin memorial. 14) CITY COMMISSIONER'S REPORTS. Commissioner M said that Manny Marono, Florida League of Cities President, appointed him to the Energy and Environmental Quality Legislation Policy Committee. He is excited about the Community Visioning Steering Committee that will be looking at the City's vision. On September 29 the City will celebrate its 135 birthday at Fort Mellon Park from 1 -5 PM. He is also working with the City Manager to get young people involved with City Government Day in October. He also gave a video presentation of happenings in Sanford.
