M. December 25, 1950, but due to lack o~ a quorum immediately adjourned until 7:30 o'clock P. M. December 26, 1950. Present: Commissioner Andrew Carraway, Mayor City Manager Clifford McKibbin, Jr., CITY COMMISSION, SANFORD, FLORIDA, December 26, at ?:30 P. The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in adjourned regular session at the City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida, at 7E30 o'clock P. M. December 26, 1950. Present: Commissioner Andrew Carraway, Mayor " Randall Chase # John Krider # W.H. Stemper City Attorney A. Edwin Shinholser City Manager Clifford McKibbln, Jr., City Clerk H. N. Sayer Absent: F.A. Dyson, Commissioner. Meeting called to order by the Chairman. Messrs. W. A. Leffler and Fred R. Wilson, Trustees of Bert Fish Testamentary Trust, next appeared and submitted the f ollowlng letter of acceptance of the City's officer to sell the said Trust for sum of $8,000.00, the property described as Lots 1 to 6 and 8 to 10, in- clusive, of Block 2, San Carlos Subdivision, for the purpose of erecting a hospital thereon. 26 December 1950 City of Sanford Sanford Florida Gentlemen: The Trustees of the Bert Fish Testamentary Trust accept the offer contained in your letter of December ?, 1950, of $8,000.00 for the property described as Lots 1 to 6 and 8 to 10 inclusive, Block 2. San Carlos, and hand you herewith check for ten percent or ~00.00 of the purchase price as earnest money. If for any reason the purchase is not concluded this payment to be returned to the Bert Fish Testamentary Trust. Inasmuch as the property is being acquired by the Bert Fish Testamentary Trust for the purpose of erecting a hospital thereon as soon as practicable, the Trustees feel that the City should exempt the property from taxation. Title to the property to be approved by the Attorney for the Bert Fish Testamentary Trust and abstract of title to be furn- ished. Very truly yours BERT FIBH TEBTAMENTARY TRUBT BY: B/ J. E. Thereupon Commissioner Btemper moved the acceptance of the offer of ~ert Fish Testamentary Trust, the sale to be concluded upon their approval and acceptance of title, and that the Mayor end Clerk be authorized to execute the deed on behalf of the City. Seconded by Commissioner Chase and carried. Commissioner Chase next introduced Ordinance No. 1~81, entitled: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BANFORD, FLORIDA VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING CERTAIN BTREETB AND ALLEYS IN, AND IN THE VICINITY OF BEMINOLE PARK IN THE CITY OF BANFORD, FLORIDA.
