City Commission, Sanford, Florida, December 26 at ?:30 P.M. 19~0
to be installed at intersections of 6th Street and Maple Avenue, Sth Street and Scott Avenue,
and 5th Street and Elliott Avenue.
Pursuant to request of Batten's Electric 0ompany, and on motion of Commissioner Stamper,
seconded by Commissioner Krider and carried, the Commission next authorized one hour parking
regulation on west side of Sanford Avenue from First to Second Street.
In connection with authorization for Black Laboratories to design and prepare plans and
specifications for installing fluoridation equipment at the water plant, the City Manager next
reported that they recommended constructing a concrete block building between Aerator and Meter
Test Room,/approximately 11' x 151 to house the chlorinator and fluoride equipment, which would
cost approximately $1,000.00, and had agreed to design same for and additional fee of $100.00.
Thereupon Commissioner Stemper moved the acceptance of recommendations of Black Labor-
atories and the authorization for the aforesaid expenditure.
Seconded by Commissioner Chase and carried.
Request next received from Mrs. Edith Rogers for cancellation of the 1950 personal taxes
in amount of $$.35 assessed against the household goods and personal effects of R. R. Renlck,
deceased, which were disposed of by burning after his death in February, 1950. Mr. Renick having
bequeath his home in which the personal property was located to Mrs. Rogers.
Thereupon Commissioner Stamper moved that the request be ~abled.
Seconded by Commissioner Chase and carried.

and same was placed on its first reading and read in full.
Thereupon Commissioner Stemper moved the waiver of the requirements of the second read-
ing of said Ordinance No. 482, and that same be placed on its final passage and adoption.
Seconded by Commissioner Chase
Thereupon the question recurred upon the waiver of the second reading. The roll was
called and the vote stands as follows:

Thereupon the Chairman announced that the 0ity 0ommission of the City of Banford, Florida,
by unanimous vote has passed and adopted said Ordinance No. 482, entitled:
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE INTRODUCTION OF APPROXIMATELY ONE PART OF
FLUORINE TO EVERY MILLION PARTS OF WATER DISTRIBUTED TO CONSUMERS THROUGH
THE MUNICIPAL WATER PLANT.
