City Commission, Sanford, Florida, November 6 at 12 Noon
The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in adjourned regular
session at the City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida, at 12:OO o'clock Noon, November 6,
1965, for the purpose of canvassing the Election Returns of the Municipal General Election
held on November 5, 1965, and any other business to come before the Commission.

The meeting was called to order by the Chairman.
The Co~mission then proceeded to canvass the returns of the Municipal General
Election held on November 5, 1963, for the purpose of electing two City Commissioners for
terms of three years each, commencing on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in
January, 1964, said returns as made by the Clerks and Inspectors as follows~

Commissioner Baker then moved that the returns of the Clerks and Inspectors of
the Municipal General Election held on November 5, 1965, be accepted and the absentee
ballots be approved as recorded.~ Seconded by Commissioner Crapps and carried.
Thereupon, Earl Higginbotham and A. L. Wilson were certified as the duly elected
City Commissioners of the City of Sanford, Florida, for the three year terms, each
commencing with the first Tuesday after the first Monday in Jauuary, 1964.
William L. Kirk next requested a l~ foot easement to construct a concrete block
wall in front of the building,located on the east 20 feet of Lot 38, all Lots 59 and 40,
Lakeview Subdivision, and on motion of Commissioner Crapps,~seconded by Commissioner Baker
and carried, the City Attorney was authorized to prepare same.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned.
