The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in special session at
the City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida, at 4:00 o'clock P. M. December 31, 1963.
Present: Commissioner Thomas S. McDonald, Mayor

The meeting was called to order by the Chairman.
Consideration given to several requests from establishments selling alcoholic
beverages to remain open the same hours on New Year's Eve as establishments located outside
the City Limits, and after discussion, Commissioner Crapps moved on the approval of the
request. Seconded by Commissioner Raborn and carried over ~he dissenting vote of
Commissioner Wilson.
W. H. Stemper, RealtOr, next appeared as agent' for Ralph G. Woodruff, and offered
to sell for $63,500.00, Lot 9 and south 72.2 feet of Lot 10, Block 2, Tier 4, Trafford's.
After discussion, Commissioner Crapps moved to authorize purchase of the afore-
said property for $60,000.00 and the City to assume costs of documentary stamps. Offer to
be good for 5 days and subject to owner furnishing good title and abstract. City to
borrow necessary sum to pay cash for the property and loan to be repaid from parking meter
revenue. Seconded by Commissioner Wilson and carried.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
