In addition to serving as a site for Fire Station No. 3 the site offers considerable potential for one or more of the following other uses: Police Department substation. Site for future elevated water storage tank. MINUTES City Commission, Sanford, Florida December 8, The contract which has been offered contains an acceptance date of "on or before December 8, 1986". It is recommended that this matter be placed on the City Commission agenda for December 8 and that City Commission approve this purchase contract as written, with the exception of closing on the sale to be on or before December 31, 1986 vice December 15, 1986 as specified in the contract. By copy of this memorandum, City Attorney is requested to review the proposed sales contract prior to City Commission meeting. After discussion regarding the ownership and future plans of the Seaboard ine Railroad Right-of-Way, the Commission recessed at 7:55 P. Individual will be let for the following areas: Effluent distribution route surveys (aerial). Airport and Golfcourse area (aerial). Various other City owned parcels - two contracts for ground survey. Attached are recommended contracts with: its contracts contracts (a) Donald W. McIntosh Associates, Inc. for sixteen (16) parcels of City property comprising approximately 90 acres. The dollar value of this recommended contract is $39,800, lump sum. (b) Southern Resources Mapping, Inc., for the effluent route surveys. The dollar value of this recommended contract is $79,140, lump sum. It is recommended that City Commission approve these contracts at December 8, 1986 meeting in order that this critical work may start immediately. McIntosh, Associates, Inc. are already included in the agenda for tonight's meeting. Attached is a letter contract of December 8, 1986 from Doudney Surveyors, Inc. for survey work on five City sites containing approximately 66 acres. This contract is recommended for approval. It is requested that you attempt to obtain City Commission approval at the same time they are addressing the other two contracts. I have not yet received a suitable document from the fourth contractor. It is requested that City Commission schedule a special meeting for the first few minutes of worksession on December 15 for action on the fourth contract. I have the originals of all contracts for signature by Mayor Smith after Commission authorization. Commissioner Thomas moved to approve the three surveying contracts, to au' MINUTES City Commission, Sanford, Florida December 8: _ FROM: Zoning Inspector SUBJECT: P & Z Meeting - December 4, 1986 RECOMMENDATIONS In answer to the request by City Commission to the Planning and Zoning COmmission to revisit the problem of ACLF, the Planning and Zoning moved that because the existing zoning and land use of the City of Sanford contained sufficient properties that would be available to so called adult congregate living, no further consideration need be given. It was also requested that the City Attorney more clearly define the City's definition of ACLF to staff so that proper enforcement in whatever areas may be affected if necessary. The vote was 5 to 3.
