The meeting was called to order by the Chairman.
The first item of business was a Public Hearing, continued from the meetin
)ecember 8, 1986, to consider closing, vacating and abandoning a portion of Fifth St
lying between Persimmon Avenue and Pomegranite Avenue and a portion of Pomegranite A
lying between the Seaboard Coastline Railroad Right-of-Way and the Southwest corner
~lley between West 4th Street and West 5th Street.
George Willmer, 4010 Finch Street, Orlando, petitioner, appeared to answer
inquires.
After discussion, Commissioner Fart moved to authorize the City Attorney t
prepare the proper ordinance for same retaining a utility easement, and subject to t

Surveying Contract for Airport and Golfcourse for
Treated Wastewater Effluent Disposal
Mr. Faison:
We have completed negotiations with Southern Resources Mapping
Corporation for the subject survey work. This is the last of four
surveying contracts required for support of land application of
treated effluent.
The scope and lump sum price for this contract are considered
appropriate for the required services and it is recommended that City
Commission approve execution of this contract. .The direct source of
funds for this contract will be the water/sewer bond fund, however,
the bulk of the cost will be grant eligible under our restructured
Department of Environmental Regulation grants.
Commissioner Fart moved to authorize the Mayor the execute said contract with
