~he City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida met in Work Session on Monday,
July 6, 1992 at 4:00 o'clock P.M. in the City Manager's Conference Room, City Hall, Sanford,
Florida.

Absent: City Attorney William L. Colbert
The Chairman called the Meeting to order.
Merit Pay for City Manager.
Commissioner Eckstein stated that William A. Simmons has done an outstanding job
as City Manager, for the past 1 1/2 years, that his last two evaluations reflect same, and
proposed that Mr. Simmons receive a 6% pay increase, effective immediately.
After discussion, the consensus of the Commission was to authorize said 6% merit
pay increase for Mr. Simmons.
Review of City Manager's proposed FY 92/93 Budget, and City Manager's Budget Message dated
June 29, 1992.
The Commission reviewed City Manager's proposed FY 92/93 Budget, Departments and
Divisions as follows:

Items for July 7, 1992 Work Session.
City Manager reported that there are only two items scheduled for the July 13, ~992
Work Session, and asked if the Commission would like to consider said items at a Budget Work
Session, at the July 13, 1992 Work Session, or at a later Work Session. The Commission
concurred to discuss the request from Jim Bagley, for a Conditional Use Permit at 414
Palmetto Avenue at the July 7, 1992 Budget Work Session, and the request from Chuck Volk,
President, Lake Monroe Harbour, Inc., at the July 27, 1992 Work Session.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
