The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida met in Special Meeting on
Wednesday, December 23, 1992 at 11:30 o'clock A.M. in the City Commission Room, City Hall,
Sanford, Florida.
Present:

Commissioner Whitey Eckstein
Commissioner Robert B. Thomas, Jr.
Commissioner A. A. McClanahan
Commissioner Lon K. Howell
City Attorney William L. Colbert
City Manager William A. Simmons
City Clerk Janet R. Donahoe
The Chairman called the meeting to order to receive the Certificate of Results of
the Municipal Run-Off Election held on December 22, 1992, for the purpose of electing one
Commissioner, District 1, and stated that the absentee ballots were counted at 7:00 o'clock
P,M. on December 22, 1992.
The Certificate of Results for the Run-Off Election held on December 22, 1992, was
received by the City Clerk and the City Commission and recorded as follows:

Commissioner Eckstein moved that the returns of the Run-Off Election held on
December 22, 1992, be accepted and the absentee ballots be approved as recorded, and declared
Commissioner Lon Howell as the winner. Seconded by Commissioner Thomas carried by the vote
of the Commission as follows:

mommissioner McClanahan moved to authorize payment in amount of $90.00 to
Inspectors and Deputy, and $100.00 to the Clerk, plus mileage to deliver the ballot box.
Seconded by Commissioner Eckstein and carried by the vote of the Commission as follows:

Members of the Community Redevelopment Agency confirmed receipt of the Special
Meeting Agenda for the December 28, 1992 Meeting, to consider approval/adoption of the
Seminole Towne Center Redevelopment Agreement.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 11:35 A.M.
