The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in Work Session on Monday, July 10, 2006, at 5 PM.
in the Railroad Depot Room, 2nd Floor, City Hall, 300 North Park Avenue, Sanford. Florida.

Mayor Kuhn called the Work Session to order at 5:05 PM.
I) Presentation of Employee of the Month Award for May, 2006, to Susan McGlashan.
2) Presentation of Communications Services Tax Report.
Sarah Bleakley, Nabors, Giblin & Nickerson, P.A., distributed and discussed information regarding the City
of Sanford shortfall in the Communications Services Tax (CST). [Attorney Colbert left the meeting.]
3) Preliminary discussion of Proposed FY2006/07 Budget.
The Commission agreed to hold budget work sessions on July 17, 18, and 24, 2006.
4) Agenda Items - additional information and/or questions.
City Manager Yehl distributed revised Ordinance 3998 for Public Hearing Item 7.D. He also distributed a
Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services/City of Sanford Memorandum of Understanding relating to the State
Farmers Market Site, which will be addressed under Other Items at tonight's Regular Meeting.
The Commission discussed contributing a portion of its Community Aid fund to underwrite the Sanford River
Rats fund raiser to be held on July 15, 2006 at the Palms Resort. City Manager Yehl said that he will inform each
Commissioner how much is available in their respective fund, and each Commissioner will decide how much they will
contribute.
5) End the meeting.
Mayor Kuhn adjourned the Work Session at 6:02 PM.
