The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in Work Session on Monday, July 24, 2006, at 4 PM,
in the Railroad Depot Room, 2nd Floor, City Hall, 300 North Park Avenue, Sanford, Florida.

Mayor Kuhn called the Work Session to order at 4:06 PM.
1) Presentation of Comprehensive Annual Financial Report for fiscal year ended September 30,2005. [Commission
Memo 06-360] (R-9.E.)
Ron Conrad, partner with Cherry Bekaert & Holland Certified Public Accountants, presented the Comprehensive
Annual Financial Report for fiscal year ended September 30, 2005.
2) Presentation of myregion.org and the regional vision for Sanford. [Commission Memo 06-361]
Shelley Lauten, Project Director, myregion.org, distributed a folder of information and gave a power point
presentation.
3) Presentation of2006 Employee Survey results. [Commission Memo 06-362]
Deputy City Manager Kristi Aday distributed the results of the 2006 Employee Survey and gave a power
point presentation regarding the same.
4) Presentation of IT Strategic Plan. [Commission Memo 06-371]
Frank Hagy, Florida League of Cities ChiefInformation Officer, distributed and reviewed the City of Sanford
Strategic Plan Presentation dated July 24, 2006.
5) Agenda Items ~ additional information and/or questions.
City Manager Yehl distributed an Add On item regarding approval of the tentative millage rate and the budget
hearing date.
Commissioner Woodruff distributed information regarding Other Item 9.G., consideration of Hopper Academy
delinquent property taxes.
Planning and Development Services Director Russ Gibson distributed a revised Agenda Cover Memorandum
regarding Public Hearing Item 7.A., first reading of Ordinance No. 4001 to vacate a portion ofa drainage and utility easement.
Mr. Yehl advised the Commission that Item 9.D. has been withdrawn by the applicant, Decimal, Inc.
6) End the meeting.
Mayor Kuhn adjourned the Work Session at 5:50 PM.
