AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
A.l,1:ENDING SECTION 310 OF THE REVISED ORDriANCES
OF CITY OF SAnFORD, OF 1914, SAID SECTION RE-
LATING TO SLAUGHTER HOUSES AND OFFAL.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That Section 310 of the Revised Ordin-
ances of the City of Sanford, of 1914, be and the same is

hereby amended so to read as follows:
Section 310. Slaug~ter Houses and Offal. It shall
be unlawful for any person to keep a butcher pen
or slaurhter house, or slauFhter any cattle, sheep,
goats or hogs in the limits of the City of Sanford,
or}to deposit on any street or alley, or on his own

lot or on the lot of another on any wharf or on the
lake shore within the limits of the city any flesh,
fish or offal of any kind, or any offensive matter

calculated to annoy any citizen, or to endanger
public health; the Drovisions of this section, how-
ever, shall not apply to abattoirs, the construction
of which has been approved by the State Board of
Health of the State of Florida and are operated in
accordance with rules and regulations prescribed
by the State Board of Health of the State of Florida.
Any person violating any of the provisions of this
section shall upon conviction thereof in the Muni-
cipal Court, be punished by fine of not exceeding
$200.00 or by imprisonment for not more than ninety
days, or by both fine and imprieonment at the dis-
cretion of the municipal judge.
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict with this ordinance be and the same are hereby
repealed.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall become effective
