AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORI~A,
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 362 or SAID CITY, PASSED
AND ADOPTED ON THE 26th DAY OF DECEMBER, 1944,
SAID ORDINANCE BEING AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING
A ZONING PLAN WITHIN THE CITY OF SANFORD, SAID
AMENDMENT TRANSFERRING TERRITORY IN DISTRICT
R-l-A TO DISTRICT R-l IN SAID CITY.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLO_IDA:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 362 of the City of
Sanford,Florida, passed and adopted on the 26th day of
December, 1944, and entitled "An Ordinance establishing a
zoning plan within the City of Sanford, creating nine (9)
districts, regulating and restricting the location and use
of buildings, structures, land and water for trade, industry,
residence or other purposes, the height and size of structures,
and size of open spaces for light and ventilation; adopting a
map of said districts; defining terms used; prOViding for the
adjua....nt, enforcement and amendment thereof; and prescribing
penalties for violation", be and the same is hereby amended
as follows:
The ~roperty zoned in District R-l-A (One Single
Family), described as Lots 55 through 82 and 91
through lIS of Amended Plat of MagnQlla Heigh~s,
and Lots 21 through 40 of Block 18; Lots~l through
19 of Block 19; and Lots 1 through 25 of Bloek 20
of San Lanta Second Section, located between Locust
and Mellonville Avenues and abutting on Catalina
and Escambia Drives and Vernango Avenue, is hereby
transferred to District R-l (One Single Family
District) .
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinance
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
