ORDINANCE NO. 390
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, FOR-
BIDDING THE SALE OR OFFERING FOR SALE WITHIN THE LIMITS OF
THE CITY OF SANFORD OF ANY MILK BUT PASTEURIZED MILK, PAS-
TEURIZED AS REQUIRED BY SUBPARAGRAPH (I) OF SECTION 1 OF
ORDINANCE NO. 300, PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COMMIS-
SION OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, ON THE 23rd DAY OF
SEPTEMBER, 1940, AND REPEALING SAID ORDINANCE NO. 300 OF
THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, INSOFAR AS THE S~~E PERMITS
THE SALE OF ANY OTHER THAN PASTEURIZED MILK, AND PROVIDING
A PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION OF THE PROVISIONS HEREOF.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. That it shall be unlawful for any person,
firm or corporation to sell or offer for sale in the City
of Sanford, Florida, any milk other than pasteurized milk,
pasteurized as provided by Subparagraph (I) of Section 1
of Ordinance No. 300, passed and adopted by the City Com-
mission of the City of Sanford., Florida, on the 23rd day
of September, 19uO.
Section 2. That any person, firm or corporation
violating the p~ov1sions of this ordinance shall, upon con-
viction in the Municipal Court, be punished by a fine of
not exceeding $200.00, or by imprisonment for not more than
ninety days, or by both such fine and imprisonment at the
discretion of the Judge of the Municipal Cou~t.
Section 3. That Ordinance No. 300, passed and adopted
by the City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, on

the 2)rd day of September, 1940, insofar and only insofar
as it permits the sale of other than pasteurized milk, is
hereby repealed.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
