AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED: AN ORDINANCE }~KING
APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 1945,
AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 1946.
WHEREAS, The City Clerk h~s prepared and submitted
a.budget of revenues and expenditures of the City of Sanford,
Florida, for the fisoal year beginning October 1, 1945, and
ending September 30, 1946, in accordance with Charter of said
Ci ty of Sanford, Florida, and upon oonsideration thereof sa,id
budget of revenues and expenditures was adopted and approved
as the budget of said City for the fisoal year beginning October
1, 1945, and ending September 30, 1946, end
WHEREAS, the Commissioners are of the opinion that the
several items of expenditures for said fiscal yea,r commenoing
October 1, 1945, and ending September 30, 1946, are rea.8onable,
necessary and proper for the administration of the affairs of
said City and the proper conduct of said City.
NOW, THEREFOR~,BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY
OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That said budget of revenues and expenditures
of said City of Sanford, Florida, for the fisoal year beginning
October 1, 1945, and ending September 30, 1946, approved by
Resolution of the City Commission of said City on the 24th day
of September, 1945, a copy of which is hereto attached and hereby
made a part of this ordinance, be and the same is hereby ratified,
approved, confirmed, accepted and adopted.
,Section 2. That the said estimates of expenditures be
and they are hereby established and fixed as appropriations from
the revenues to be derived by said City of Sanford, Florida, from
taxes to be levied and oollected, and from all other sources, for
the various purposes as set forth in the said estimates for the
said period beginning October 1, 194.5, and. ending September 30,
194.6.
Section 3. That all ord,lnances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
Section 4.. That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 24.th day of September, 194.5.
