BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OJ!' 'rHE CI'rY OF Sl-l.NFORD, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That paragraph 67 of Section 5 of Ordinance
No.
354
passed and adopted on the 11th day of September
1944 levying and imposing license taxes for municipal purposes,
be and the same is hereby amended so as to read as follows:
67. CONTRACTORS for Building, roofing, cement,
Electrical, Painting, plastering, plumbing and sigh wbrk, not
including sales, and not employing any assistants

Contractors for such work employing one
Of more assistants
25.00
A Contractor is defined as being one whose work
involves furnishing capital, material, implements, facilities
or labor of others, and whether paid a fixed sum, a percentage
of the cost, or on a cost plus basis, or by the day.
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict with this ordinance, be and the s~ne are hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this crdinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
