FLORIDA:
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE O}t'r:E CITY OF S.J.NFORD,
SECTION 1: That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 335, passed
and adopted on the 26th day of April, 1943, entitled, "An Ordinance
of the City of Sanford, Florida, Prescribing a Penalty for the
Crime of Assault and Battery Committed in the City of Sanford,
,
Florida" be and the same is hereby amended so as to read as fol-
lows:
"SECTION 1: That whoever commits assault or assault
and battery upon another person in the City of Sanford,
Florida, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and punished by
a fine of not exceeding $200.00 or by imprisonment for not
more than ninety days or by both fine and imprisonment, at
the discretion of the Municipal Judge."
SECTION 2: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3: That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
