Section 1: That Section 133 of the Revised Ordinances
of the City of Sanford of 1914, be and the S8.me is hereby amended
so as to read as follows:
"Section 133. Keeping Gambling House or Gambling
Apparatus: Whoever by hirl1self, his servant, clerk Or agent,
or in any other manner has, keeps, exercises or maintains
a Gaming table or room, or gaming ir:lplements or apparatus,
or house, booth, tent, or other place for the purpose of
gamine; or =:,amblin3, or in any place of Which he may directly
or indirectly have charge, control or management, either
exclusively or with others, procures, suffers or permits
any person to play for money or other valuable thing at
any game whatever, whether heretofore prohibited. or not,
shall be punished by fine not exceeding $200.00 or by
imprisonroont not exceeding ninety days, or by both fine
and imprisonment, at the discretion of the MuniCipal Judge.t!
Section 2: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
Section 3: That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
