AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED: A.N ORDINANCE MAKING
APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE OITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 1944,
AND ENDING SEPT~lBER 30, 1945.

WHEREAS, The City Clerk has prepared and submitted
a budget of revenues and expenditures of the City of Sanford,
Florida, for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1944, and
ending September 30, 1945, in accord.ancE' wi th the Charter of
said City of Senford, Florida, and upon consideration thereof
said bud.get of revenues and expenditures was adopted A.nd Apnroveo.
as the budget of said City for the fiscal year beginning October
1, 1944, and eno.ing September 30, 1945, and
WHEREAS, the Commissioners are of the opinion that the
severa,l items of expendi turee for said fi~cel year comraencing
October 1, 1944, and ending September 30, 1945, are reasonabLe,
necessary and proper for the administration of the affairs of
said City ~nd the proper conduct of said City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY
OF SANFORD, FLORI DA:
Section 1. That said. budget of revenues and expenditures
of said Oity of Sanford, Florida, for the fiscal year beginning
October 1, 19411, e.nd ending September 30, 1945, approved by
Resolution of the City Commission of seid Oi ty on the 25t..'I1. day
of September, 1944, A. copy of which is hereto attached and hereby
me.d.e a part of this ordine.nce, be and the seme is hereby re.tlfied,
approved, confirmed, accepted and adopted.
Section 2. That the said estimates of expenditures be
'a,no. they are hereby established and fixed as appropriations from
the revenues to be derived by said Oi ty of Sanford, !t'lori da,
from taxes to be levied and collected, and from all other souroes,
for the various purposes as set forth in the said estimates for
the said perio& beginning October 1, 1941~, and ending September
30, 1945.
Section 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
Section 4. That this ordinRnce shall beoome effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 25th day of September, 1941-1-.
