WHEREAS, it is the desire of the various parties hereto to set

WHEREAS, the parties recognize that the City of Sanford has
previously authorized the study to commence; and thc study has, in fact,
commenced and is being conducted by Clark, Dietz and Associates, Inc.
NOW, THEHEFOHE, in conside r'ation of the premises hereof
and other good and valuable considerations, the receipt and sufficiency of
which are hereby acknowledged, the parties hereto agree as follows:
}, The parties hereto agree to establish a three-member board
to assist in the study, said boal'd to wield decision making authority with a
limitation as to supervisory and administrative matters with no govermnental
decisions. The board shall consist of one person from each of the govenl-

mental authoritie 5, and each gove rnmental authority shall de s ignate one
member of said board.

is presently engaged in the study, and the parties further agree to hav<.~

4. The parties aclwO\vlec1ge that it has been estimated by Clark, I

Dietz and Associatcs, Inc. that the cost of the study will not exceed the sum of

, Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($15,000), The partic;3 agree th8t the cost of tbe
study will be shared equally by City of Sanford and County, the said cost to
each party not to exceed Seventy-five Hundred Dollars ($7,500).
5. The parties acknowledge and agree that the geographical area
which is the subject matter of the study is that certain area bounded by Lake
Jessup to the southeast, the S1:. Johns River aDd Lake Monroe on the east and

,I north, the Wekiva River on the west, and on the south by a line beginning at

the Soldier Creek discharge into Lake Jessup and extending west to the
Wekiva HiveI'. The southern boundary coincides with the northern boundary
of the Longwood-Altamonte Springs regional service area.
The term of this Agreement shall be for such time as may be
necessary to conclude the study referred herein and to take 8ction thereon.
The date of Agreement for purposes of performance shall be regarded as the
elate when the last party has signed this Agreement.
IN WITNESS WHEHEOF, the parties hereto have caused these
presents to be executed in tbeir names and their corporate seals to be 11ore-
unto affixed by their proper offiC-ers thereunto duly authorized on the day and
year hereinafter set forth.
