Planning and Zoning Commission denied, on a 4-2 vote,
request for Conditional Use for non-conforming
structures, to change the use from a residential to a
mixed use of prOfessional offices and two apartments, and
reduction of the width of required landscape buffers,
from 10' to 5', for property located at 1301 - 1307 Park
Avenue in a RC-1 Restricted Commercial District.

B. City Manager recommends, that if the City Commission
approves A above, the request to waive required paving of
parking spaces, and only pave driveway be referred to
Planning and Zoning Commission for recommendation
regarding waiver of Land Development Regulations
requirement.

Planning and Zoning issue -- NO ACTION REQUIRED BY CITY

A. Utilization of Sanford Civic Center with waiver of rental
fees on October 11, 1991, from 11:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M,
to hold charette regarding Duany project.
B. Utilization of Cultural Arts Center with waiver of rental
fees on October 11, 1991, from 11:00 A.M. until 3:00
P.M., for charette luncheon; and waiver of rental fees
and required off-duty police officers, for champagne
reception that evening.
C. Utilization of Sanford Civic Center and kitchen
facili ties with waiver of rental fees on October 12,
1991, from 8:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M., for charette.
City Manager recommends denial of waiver of all fees, and
to charge fees to recapture actual City costs.

"Special Events" Permit, for Sailing Regatta (600 Boats), from
