Information attached. A. Request to utilize Chamber of Commerce parking lot and barricades for Car Show. B. Request to utilize Fort Mellon Park from Sanford Avenue to San Juan Avenue and from First Street to the lakefront, and to shut down sprinkler system from 5:00 P.M., Wednesday, July 3, 1991 through 8:00 A.M., Friday, July 5, 1991 for vendors and radio broadcast locations. c. Request to use lakefront and barricades for fireworks display; Police Department for crowd control, security and traffic control, and Fire Department (on standby) for fire safety. D. Request to use Fort Mellon Park restrooms and electricity on Fourth of July. City Manager recommends approval, subject to Staff recommendations as set forth in Memo dated May 9, 1991, from Special Events Coordinator. 3. Planning and Zoning Conunission recommends approval, wi th conditions. NEEDS CITY COMMISSION ACTION (ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND/OR COMMENTS.) 6. (Board appointments/re-appointments/resignations.) A. Code Enforcement Board: The terms of James Dycus and Robert Keith expire June 30, 1991; both are willing to serve again, if re-appointed. B. Civil Service Board: The term of Dr. John Darby expires June 30, 1991, and he is willing to serve again, if re- appointed. C. Historic Preservation Board: There is one vacancy for term to expire October 28, 1992 (Don Moore has moved.) Memo attached. 7.
