Items from the November 16, 1987 Work Session: (a) Seminole County Road Impact Fee = Moratorium. (1) Review status. If the Commission desires to extend the moratorium, authorize the City Attorney to prepare the proper ordinance. (2) First reading of Ordinance No. 1910. (b) Consideration of bids for additional storage facilities at the utility building (located behind the fire station). Copies attached: Memo from Utility Director and Tabulation of Bid #87/88-08. Recommend acceptance of lowest bid, which meets specifications, from Mark Metal Structures, as described in the memo. (c) Proposal to acquire the Indian Mound Water System. Recommend the City Commission formally authorize staff to proceed with appropriate analysis of this prospective purchase, and to schedule and advertise the required Public Hearing for the earliest appropriate City Commission Meeting. (The decision whether or not to purchase would be made after the Public Hearing and presentation of staff recommendations.) (d) Discussion of city park, leased to All Souls Parish, between Park Avenue and Oak Avenue and between Eighth street and Ninth Street. Copies attached: lease and request to renew. Recommend renew lease for one year. (e) Discussion of the Expressway Route. 2. Request to close Oak Avenue between 13th Street and 14th Street on December 18, 19 & 20, 1987 from 6:00 P. M. to 8:30 P. M. for Living Nativity Program. Copy attached: Letter from Jack M. Thomas, Minister of Music, Central Baptist Church. Recommended by City Manager. 3. Request for water service at property South of and abutting SR 46 and between Beardall Avenue and Cameron Avenue. Copies attached: Annexation Petition from Albert Leeberg and map. Recommend water service and accept petition for recording for annexation when contiguous. 4. (b) First Reading of Ordinance No. 1910 ~ An ordinance of the City of Sanford, Florida, amending Ordinance No. 1856 to extend the moratorium on transportation impact fees for an additional six months; extending the time for completion of the transportation impact fee study.
