1. Continuation of Public Hearing to consider closing, vacating
and abandoning a portion of a North/South utility easement
lying South of and abutting Anthony Drive. Petitioner:
Centex Homes, Inc.
The action of the Commission was to deny said request.
2. Public Hearing to consider closing, vacating and abandoning
any right of the City and the public in and to that portion
of Mulberry Avenue lying between West 6th Street and
Seaboard Coastline Railroad Right-of-Way. Petitioner: The
True Church of God, Inc.
The action of the Commission was to authorize the City
Attorney to prepare the proper ordinance for said closing
and authorize a Right-of-Way Use permit for the aforesaid
Mulberry Avenue, pending adoption of the Ordinance. The
Commission approved a Right-of-Way Use Permit of 6th Street
for a period of 12 months, upon approval by the City Staff
of the site plan. The Commission also agreed that if the
Church bought the materials for the sewer and water lines,
the City would install said lines.
3. Public Hearing to consider rezoning of that certain property
lying South of and abutting West 7th Street and lying
between Laurel Avenue and Elm Avenue from SR-1 (Single
Family Residential Dwelling) District to RC-1 (Restricted
Commercial) District. Petitioner: First Shiloh Missionary
Baptist Church
The action of the Commission was to deny said request. The
City Commission approved a "Special Exception" to allow the
Church to operate a Day Care Center for members of the
Church only.
4. Public Hearing to consider rezoning a portion of that

Plan, Evaluation and Appraisal Report. An additional change
was approved that would include all necessary improvements,
regardless of whether they are programmed at this time or
not.
