1. Items from the July 5, 1989 Work Session:
A. Consideration of City Manager's Report to the City
Commission on Recreation Department activities. (Memo
attached from City Manager with review of "Alternate
#4" as requested by Commissioner Eckstein.)
B. Consideration of the Budget and setting the millage.
Need to adopt by motion:
(1) The current year rolled-back rate of 5.6144.
(This is to acknowledge the rolled-back rate for
notification to the Property Appraiser as required
by Statute.)
(2) A proposed millage rate of 6.8759 mills. (This is
tentative and may be changed downward at the
public hearing and final consideration in
September.)
(3) A "proposed" Budget for 1989-90. (This is
tentative and may be changed at the public hearing
before final passage.)
(4) Set a Public Hearing on the "tentative Budget" to
be held at 7:00 P. M. on September 11, 1989, in
the City Commission Room.
2. Re: Regular Agenda Item #l.B., adoption of Ordinance No.
2043, rescinding and cancelling moratorium on Transportation
or Road Impact Fees. Recommend the public hearing be held,
then continued to August 14, 1989, pending County Commission
approval of Interlocal Agreement to facilitate collection of
prior fees.

3. Request from Ronald Allman and William Gatchell for
occupational license for game room at 3759 South Orlando
Drive.

Orlando Drive (building located outside Sanford City
Limits, parking lot located inside Sanford City Limits.)
City Manager recommends City Commission file objection to
Special Exception request at the County Hearing scheduled
for July 17th (see information attached from Zoning Official
and from City Planner.)
Recommend authorization for City Attorney to prepare a
resolution objecting to the proposed use.
