1. Public Hearing to consider rezoning a portion of that
certain property lying East of and abutting Hidden Lake
Drive and lying between Lake Mary Boulevard and Sanford
Grant Line is proposed to be rezoned from SR-1 (Single
Family Residential Dwelling) District to MR-2 (Multiple
Family Residential Dwelling) District.
2. Public Hearing for the purpose of public discussion of the
proposed Groveview Neighborhood Park.
3. Public Hearing for Second Reading & Adoption of Ordinances.

and ad was published on July 18 and 28, 1988. Planning and
Zoning Commission recommends approval of request.

Resolution No. 1511: re: authorizing the City of Sanford to
submit an application for funding under the Florida
Recreation Development Assistant Program for Development of
Groveview Park; designation the Director of Recreation and
Parks as the official liaison agent; confirming the amount
of funds requested in the grant; confirming the availability
of the required matching funds; confirming the total cost of
the project; confirming the City's responsibility to
develop, operate, and maintain the project; confirming that
the City offered all citizens the opportunity to participate
in the planning process relative to the adoption of the
recreation and open space element; confirming the City's on-
going concern for citizen participation in planning and
selection of Recreation Projects; providing for an effective
date.

reasons described in the memo, recommend acceptance of next-
to-lowest bid, which does meet specifications, from

RE: REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COMMISSION - AUGUST 8, 1988.
1. Public Hearing to consider rezoning a portion of that
certain property lying East of and abutting Hidden Lake
Drive and lying between Lake Mary Boulevard and Sanford

The action of the Commission was to table said rezoning to
the meeting of August 22, 1988 and recommended all parties
convene and attempt to reach an understanding about the
development of said property.
