Call to Order
Mr. Davis called the meeting to order at 6: 11 PM.
Election of Chairman and Vice Chairman

Mr. Davis agreed to be Chairman. There was no further discussion.
Mr. Brodeur agreed to be Vice Chairman. There was no further
discussion.
Discussion
The Subcommittee members discussed equal and effective
representation, reappointment, minority/majority district, equality of districts,
redistricting prior to 2010 Census, holding a special election and the
appointment power of the City Commission.
Mr. Davis stated that Ordinance No. 4032 is flawed in reference to
dilution.
Mr. Kinney and Mr. Brodeur concur the question is whether or not
something should be done before the 2012 census has been completed and
the data is available.
G The Subcommittee members' concurred that legal expertise is needed,
... the city needs healing and no one should be disenfranchised.

Establish Meetings
The Committee concurred to hold the next meeting on Monday, June 25,
2007,6 PM, in the Railroad DepotRoom.
Adjournment
The meeting was adjourned at 7:26PM.
