Call to Order
Ms. Fogle called the meeting to order at 6:02 PM.
Election of Chairman and Vice Chairman
Mr. Kinney nominated Mr. McLeod for Chairperson. There being no
further nominations, Mr. McLeod accepted the nomination.
Mr. Kinney nominated Ms. Fogle for Vice Chairperson. There being
no further nominations, Ms. Fogle accepted the nomination.
Election of Topics to Committee Members
Ms. Fogle agreed to research the following topics:
Consider changing Acting Mayor to Vice Mayor in Section 2.03
Designation/Duties
Appointment
Rotation
Succession of the chain of command among Public Officials
Section 2.08, Rewording regarding City Clerk
Review chain of command for City Clerk, Police Chief, Fire Chief
Gender Neutral
Mr. Kinney agreed to research the following topics:
Term limits
Ethics

Moral turpitude
Charter Section 2.06(b), Forfeiture of Office
Mr. McLeod agreed to research the following topics:
Section 4.01, Rewording regarding Chief of Police/Fire Chief
Termination procedures for Public Officials
Section 3.02, Removal Powers/Authority - City Manager
Section 2.02, Commission pay and timing thereof
Personnel Director
Section 8.01, Charter Amendment (City Attorney has provided
draft language)
Establish Meetings
The Committee concurred to hold the next meeting on Tuesday, June
19,2007,6 PM, in the Railroad Depot Room, at which time it will discuss the
information found by the members and their assigned topics.
The Committee concurred to hold three tentative meetings one
immediately following the June 14, 2007 regular CRC meeting, one on
Tuesday, June 19, 2007, 6PM and one on Thursday, July 5,2007, 6PM, all in
the Railroad Depot Room.
Adjournment
The meeting was adjourned at 7:41 PM.
