Mayor Kuhn read the Certificate of Appreciation.
City Manager Yehl said it is Staff's recommendation to retire K-9 Girard, declare him surplus, and authorize
his sale to Officer Rebecca Wixson for $1.00; this item will be added to tonight's Consent Agenda.
B) National Public Works Week Proclamation.
Mayor Kuhn read the Proclamation declaring May 20 - 26,2007 as National Public Works week.

Commissioner Jones moved to accept the City Safety Incentive Program to be administered on an annual
basis as described and approve the budget amendment in the amount of $99,500. Seconded by Commissioner Woodruff
and carried by vote of the Commission as follows:
