Colbert Others present: Commissioner-Elect Art Woodruff Present for School Board: Chairman Sandra Robinson Board Member Dede Scb. affner Board Member Jeanne Morris Board Member Diane Bauer Superintendent Paul Hagerty Absent: Board Member Larry Furlong Chairman Robinson called the meeting to order and announced that the purpose of the meeting was to discuss a proposed land swap and any other business. Attendees received a booklet entitled "Joint Work Session between the City of Sanford and Seminole County Public Schools {Proposed Property Exchange}" dated March 20, 2001. City Manager VanDerworp briefly reviewed the proposal to exchange a city-owned 13.14 acre site at 601 East 251h Street for a school board-owned 8.6 acre site south of the -- Historic Sanford Memorial Stadium and east of Chase Park. Deputy City Manager Roger Dixon read the proposal into the record. The City Commission and the School Board discussed the proposal, and concurred that both hoards' staffs get together and work out a proposal to accomplish the interests of each, to be submitted to each hoard for further consideration.
