The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida met in Joint Work Session with the Sanford Ai~ort
Authority on Wednesday, March 21, 2001, at 5:00 P.M. in the Sanford Airport Authority Executive Offices, A. IC Shoemaker
Domestic Terminal, One Red Cleveland Boulevard, Sanford, Florida.

Mayor Dale called the meeting to order and announced that the purpose of the meeting was to discuss the stares
,'- of the airport and any other business.
Chairman Miller welcomed everyone and stated the airport would share dialogue, answer questions and show
a short power-point presentation on the airport.
Mayor Dale introduced everyone.
Victor White reported Bryant GarreU would show a power-point presentation that he showed at noon today at
Church Street Station to The World Trade Center Orlando Group.
Bryant Garrett gave the presentation.
Mr. White showed a video ofa dm~ of a new Orlando-Sanford Airport commercial.
The beards ~d the challenges facing the airport, inchding the Master Plan (the first rendition is anticipated
in October or November), Airport Layout Plan, Part 150 Noise Study, Environmental Assessment, DRI, Land Acquisition, Pan
Am, Expansion of runways and taxiways, ILS COMAIR, Center runway, DC& Continuity of partnership between Airport
Authority and City of Sanford, Comntw~ Park Development, Employment opportunities for local residents, Long-range plans
for COMAIR, Fuel spills and contamination, Public-private parmership with OSD, OSI, and TBI, Budget, Reserves, Passenger
Facility Charges, Cou~,~-nv, e Park Plan to be completed in September 2001, HNTB Consultants, Alternative Plan for COMAIR,
Sensitivity ofdiseussion regarding COMAIR, the Airport's goal of 5 million passengers, Service to the public, FAA requirement
that revenue generated on the Airport stay at the Airport, and Cargo - incoming and outgoing.
Mr. Miller thanked Mayor Dale for the time he has spent to help the Sanford Airport Authority and the Orlando-
Sanford Airport accomplish things they could not have accomplished on their own.
